Pride in London Festival 2017 Submissions Now Open

Submissions for Pride in London Festival 2017 are now open! The Festival, now in its third year, showcases inspiring talent, hosts fully inclusive and accessible events and celebrates diversity within London’s sparkling LGBT+ community.

The Festival will host theatre, dance, talks, conferences, sporting events, LGBT+ tours, art exhibitions, screenings and much more held in venues across London during the 2-week Festival.

Do you run an event or have an idea for an event that could be included in the Festival? If so, get involved in making Pride in London Festival 2017 the biggest and most diverse to date. All submissions received from the community will be thoroughly reviewed by Pride in London’s Festival team and an extra focus will be placed to increase women’s, BAME and trans events.

Events have previously included Trans Pride Tea Dance; a special event for the trans and gender non-conforming community, Nunhead Pride MiniFest Film Night; a free screening of films about black gay men and the Ukrainian LGBT+ struggle, the first ever Queer Asia Conference; Pride LGBT+ Youth Prom; a unique event for LGBT+ people aged 12-17 to celebrate their diversity, numerous new theatre pieces, walks and tours.

Pride in London Co-Chair & Director of Marketing, Alison Camps, said: "We are looking for submissions that cover the fabulous spectrum of what the London has to offer - art, literature, theatre, film, photography, food, debate, music, cabaret, history, science, sport - and more! We are looking to curate a programme that genuinely represents all facets of LGBT+ life in London."
